♻️ Global Recycle Day ♻️

Today, the children learned all about recycling and how important it is to look after our environment!
One of our staff members set up a lovely activity in the sunshine and we looked at all the things we can recycle and which bin to put them in!

💐 Mothers Day Afternoon Tea 💐

We had a lovely afternoon celebrating Mother’s Day today. Thank you to all our amazing mothers and grandmothers who spent the afternoon with us having afternoon tea ☕️ 🎂.
We love getting the opportunity to spend time with our parents and what a lovely afternoon we all had!

This week, we held our annual bonfire event at forest school! 🎇
Families were invited along to get cosy around our campfire, take part in fun activities and enjoy a delicious hot chocolate and nibbles!
We were even treated to a view of the fireworks across Kersal Dale! 🎆
A fabulous time was had by all!

🎆 🎇 We hope everybody has a wonderful and safe Bonfire night tonight.

All our children have enjoyed some colourful and exciting activities and learnt all about how to keep safe during their time celebrating bonfire night!🔥

As we entered the new term, we recommenced our Employee of the Month Award!
Please join us in wishing our September and October winners a massive congratulations!
Soniya won our September award for her dedication and care to the children's nutrition and routine, day in day out. She has been invaluable since the moment she started, cooking delicious and nutritious meals and working hard to ensure our indoor space is always clean and sparkling!
Farheen won our October award for continuously giving 100% to the children and working hard to create a fun, stimulating and exciting forest school environment. The children adore her and we are very lucky to have her on our team!
We have such an incredible little forest school family and we look forward to sharing November's winner with you soon!

We have been super busy this week planning and participating in Halloween Activities. We love seeing how excited the children get seeing all the fun and exciting things planned!

Learning with the Leaves! 🍂
We have loved exploring the changes in the Autumn leaves in our forest area. We selected different shapes, sizes and colours and, following the children's own ideas, we used twine to create leaf strings by threading it through the leaves.
These were then turned into a variety of creations; bracelets, necklaces and bunting!
There is so much to learn when nature is right at your fingertips!
