It’s the Reverend (literally) Dr. Mark Button’s birthday!! Mark is such an incredible part of our team. His knowledge and passion for God has inspired so many of our students over the years, as well as the staff and faculty around him.

Whether it’s interesting theological discussions in the staff room, or mini golf with students at the end of the year, Mark brings wisdom and fun to everything he does.

We are so grateful for all that you do, Mark! You are brilliant, and we hope you have a great birthday.

Show Mark some love in the comments, or send us a DM so we can pass it on 🙏🏻

Last week it was Abby’s birthday!! Join us in celebrating an amazing woman of God, a Missio Dei alumni and a valued member of the team. Abby is one of our college administrators and our pastoral assistant. She is an incredible example of what we do here at Missio Dei: she has such a heart for facilitating the education of the next generation, and for championing spiritual growth in each of our students. We are so so grateful for you Abby, and we wish you a very happy birthday!

Welcome back to our chatting with series! We’re continuing our conversation about Rev. Dr Mark Button and Lauren Fox’s journey to Missio Dei.

Today we’re talking about the value of studying Theology and Leadership as a combination.

We believe that facilitating opportunities for students to practically apply their knowledge is essential for forming the next generation of Christian leaders that are empowered by the purposes of God, and to bring about His kingdom.

Today we are celebrating two of our incredible team - it’s Lauren and Peter’s birthdays!!

Lauren is one of our senior lecturers here at Missio Dei, and her brilliant lectures on Christian leadership are one of the highlights of our students’ time here. Outside the classroom, she is just as lovely, as powerful and insightful to speak with. She is such a valued member of our team, and we are so grateful to have her! Happy birthday Lauren!!

We are also celebrating the brilliant Peter, who is a crucial part of our academic team. His research skills, curriculum planning and pastoral care are such a gift to college life. He has the best sense of humour, a passion for learning, and we absolutely love having him on the team. Happy birthday Peter!!

Show Lauren and Peter some love in the comments, or send us a DM so we can pass it on to them in an email 🥳🙏🏻
