Rachael Baxter, a lead operational manager at Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust has completed her level 5 management apprenticeship.

This is Megan O'Neill, who recently completed her business administrator apprenticeship.

The apprenticeship helped Megan make a real difference at Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust.

After taking part in a process improvement project, Megan successfully increased the weekend discharges by an average of 10 people per weekend – something which the organisation had been trying to achieve for two years and is a real reflection of the value an apprentice can bring to an organisation.

Megan received a distinction in her end-point assessment. Well done Megan - very well deserved!

Say hi to Katrina Shawcross, our new Divisional Manager for business development.

Kat began her career as an apprentice, and went on to become a qualified assessor. So she understands how and why apprenticeships are such a great option for individuals and employers.

Working alongside our other Divisional Managers, Nicola Fletcher, Lee Clements and Steven Logan, Kat and her business development colleagues will enable Damar to have a positive impact on even more employers across England through our apprenticeship programmes.
