π§©β¨ Learning Through Play: Fine Motor Fun! β¨π§©
Our preschool children have been busy developing their fine motor skills through lots of fun, hands-on activities! π
From shape sorters and jigsaws to Lego, dominoes, blocks, small world play and Popoids, every activity provides opportunities for children to learn, explore and develop important skills through play.
But itβs not just about developing physical skills! Through play, children are also thinking, experimenting, making choices, communicating, imagining and solving problems. They learn by trying things out, making mistakes, adapting their ideas and celebrating their successes. π
Whether they are carefully fitting a piece into a jigsaw, connecting Popoids, building a tower with blocks, sorting shapes or creating an imaginary small world, play is helping children build the skills and confidence they need for future learning. β€οΈ
Because when children are having fun, theyβre learning too! π
