We hopped into Tuesday with a frog tuff tray 🐸
The children used lots of skills to catch the frogs with tweezers or nets. They looked at them closely with the magnifying glasses and put them in the bug catchers.
We sang 5 little speckled frogs where the children took turns to remove a frog from the log and we counted together.

What a lovely morning walk we have had.

A walk is a perfect way to get children talking. There is so much to see and learn about.

Today we went flower 🌷 spotting this helps engage the children and teaches colours. Some of the children noticed that some grass was LONG and some grass was SHORT.

The children enjoyed moving in different ways.
We did star jumps, they crawled, they did normal jumps and even frog jumps 🐸 they finished the walk by making a train 🚂

We finished or walk with juice and a biscuit 🍪

No one is better at being you then you 💖🩵

Forgot to post our Monday morning bug hunt 🐛 tuff tray table.

It was supposed to be frogs 🐸 but we realised after setting up the frogs hadn’t arrived. So we amended the activity.

The children loved using the magnifying glasses 🔍 to look close at all the bugs. They used their fine motor skills while using the tweezers to pick up the bugs and place them in the bug catchers.

We counted bugs, named them and named the colours. We spoke about bugs that fly bugs that crawl and where they all live.

Our youngest so far came at just 6 months old and she still comes to say hello from time to time and she’s nearly 22 ♥️

We also cared for one families three children from babies to school watching their family grow and looking after each of them was a privilege

All the children we care for and their families will always have a special place in our hearts

Our little gardeners have produced some pretty good sunflowers so far🌻

They have spent the last few days watering them at Debbie Day-Care and now they have taken them home.

I wonder how big they will be by next week 😍

We named all the vehicles, Built walls and did some digging

The children have been baking this morning taking it in turns to pour, mix and roll, waiting patiently for their turn.

Now they have yummy cookies for pudding 🍪
