Montague Road Pre-School

We were delighted to donate some of our resources both far and wide and thankfully the first batch arrived at the Bumba foundation in Uganda. Thanks Martin Tilbury for getting them there - I wonder what they make of the gruffalo with his ‘knobbly knees and turned out toes and the poisonous wart at the end of his nose’!

We have had a lovely final week at preschool, having lots of fun with our friends 😊

Our last day has arrived. We would love parents and children old and new to join us between 3.30 and 4.30 for cake and a chance to say farewell. It will hopefully be dry so we will be in the Monty car park x

This afternoon we found the gate to the 'secret garden' and went on a mini nature walk, looking and talking about all the different trees and plants. We collected some leaves and used the crayons to make 'leaf rubbings' helping develop our fine motor skills and pen control.

Sadly we are having to close our doors on Friday 22nd October as the church hall has closed and we have been unable to find another venue to relocate to.

On our last day we would love any parents and children from over the years who would like to come and say goodbye to the staff to join us in the car park for farewell cake! We will be here from 3.30 till 4.30.

Thanks for everyone’s support during this time. We will miss everyone!

We have had a fun first week back, exploring new areas and activities 😀👍

We are looking forward to inviting our new and existing children back tomorrow. We have been busy today setting up, here are a few photos …

To all of our lovely parents and their families who come along to our stay and play on Friday morning, unfortunately this will not restart this month as we can longer use the church hall to operate from. We are looking for alternative premises and will keep this page updated. thanks

Today we have enjoyed a delicious end of term treat 🍦!
Tomorrow is our last day, good luck to our leavers 🎓 and have a lovely summer!
We reopen on Monday 6th September.
