Summer Holiday Adventures 🌞
The summer holidays are nearly over, and it will soon be time for our older school children—and our five little ones heading off to school for a brand-new adventure—to begin the next exciting chapter. We will miss you all so much, but we know you will have lots of fun, make wonderful memories and continue to grow and shine. ❤️
So, what have we been up to over the holidays? Lots of interesting and exciting things!

We have enjoyed trips to the beach and a fantastic day at Dunham Massey’s “Summer of Fun”, where the children took part in lots of activities, including building, making musical instruments, enjoying the puppet theatre and even trying some yoga.

We have also been out and about doing our bit for the community with some litter picking, helping to keep our local area looking lovely. We have visited our local parks for lots of outdoor fun and enjoyed feeding the ducks too. 🦆

We even had our very own Road Safety Day, setting up traffic lights in the garden and learning all about staying safe near roads. 🚦

Of course, the British weather didn’t always play along! ☔ On those days, we brought the fun indoors with lots of exciting activities. We made homemade bread, pizzas and biscuits, created shrinky keyrings, made slime, designed loom band bracelets and enjoyed some fabulous face painting. There has certainly never been a dull moment!

Our garden has been keeping us busy too, and we have enjoyed a little harvest of our own, picking lots of lovely green beans, tomatoes and one massive courgette! 🍅🥒

Another fantastic day out was at Wythenshawe Park, where we had lots of fun playing in the park and enjoyed looking around the farm. 🐷🐴

I have probably forgotten something along the way, but there are lots of wonderful photos to look through, so take a look and see just how much fun we have had this summer! 📸

We also have some new little ones starting over the next few weeks, so we will keep you all updated and share all the interesting and exciting things we get them involved in.

Finally, we would like to say a huge thank you to all the parents of our children who are heading off to school for the lovely gifts we have received. They are very much appreciated and such a thoughtful gesture. ❤️

To our five little school leavers, we are so proud of you and will miss you all very much. We know you are going to have an amazing time at school and that you will make your families so very proud.

It’s been a very busy week ,we have had a trip to the local park for some fun in the sunshine. We managed to harvest our crop of potatoes with our little friends . Best of all we had a Graduation Party for our 5 little ones who are off to school in September. Bluey was our surprise special guest to the party ,we had lots of fun singing and dancing and getting our photo taken with Bluey. The children went home that day with their graduation cards ,certificate, and their Graduation Teddy Bear to cherish.

☀️KNOW THE SIGNS OF HEAT STROKE! ☀️

In a heatwave, it’s worth knowing the signs of heat exhaustion and heatstroke and what to do if someone becomes unwell.

Help reduce the risk by staying hydrated, avoiding the sun between 11am and 3pm, wearing loose, light-coloured clothing, and taking it easy in the heat.

Check in on anyone who may be more vulnerable, including babies, young children, older people and those with long-term health conditions.

Well that's been a fun couple of weeks !
We had some duck eggs delivered and have been privileged to watch them hatch into beautiful little ducklings. We have been busy with crafts and reading books about these little creatures. Hope you like the pictures as much as the children loved watching them grow .

Another update of our fun lives as childminders .We have had superhero day where we made our own superhero characters and created a fun superhero tough tray activity rescuing dinosaurs ,( but also working on our gross motor skills ).Bee week and we were busy with lots of bee crafts and learning and a trip to Wythenshawe park to see the bees at work in their hives .We also had caterpillars delivered and have been watching them develop over the last few weeks to turn themselves into a chrysalis and then into beautiful butterflies, it was a great experience for the children .

I know we are a bit late but here we are with our first post for 2026. We have been very busy with activities and days out so here’s a quick rundown of what we have been doing with the children. Start of the year we made some bird feeders, valentines day crafts, St Patricks Day crafts and we’ve been planting potatoes, sunflower seeds and carrots. We had a visit from Peter Rabbit over Easter for some fun and games and 2 of our little ones gave him their dummies as they are off to school in September so are big girls now. We made easter bonnets and had an easter egg hunt in the garden. Lots of activities and learning and most important lots of fun. We hope you all like the pictures and we have a few things happening in the next couple of months which we are sure everyone will love.
