Another update of our fun lives as childminders .We have had superhero day where we made our own superhero characters and created a fun superhero tough tray activity rescuing dinosaurs ,( but also working on our gross motor skills ).Bee week and we were busy with lots of bee crafts and learning and a trip to Wythenshawe park to see the bees at work in their hives .We also had caterpillars delivered and have been watching them develop over the last few weeks to turn themselves into a chrysalis and then into beautiful butterflies, it was a great experience for the children .

I know we are a bit late but here we are with our first post for 2026. We have been very busy with activities and days out so here’s a quick rundown of what we have been doing with the children. Start of the year we made some bird feeders, valentines day crafts, St Patricks Day crafts and we’ve been planting potatoes, sunflower seeds and carrots. We had a visit from Peter Rabbit over Easter for some fun and games and 2 of our little ones gave him their dummies as they are off to school in September so are big girls now. We made easter bonnets and had an easter egg hunt in the garden. Lots of activities and learning and most important lots of fun. We hope you all like the pictures and we have a few things happening in the next couple of months which we are sure everyone will love.

It's that time of year again when Santa came to visit the children and we had some fun at Antz in your Pantz. A Christmas lunch with lots of party games and activities and having to look after this naughty elf who keeps getting up to mischief !!!!.We would like to wish all our families and friends a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and we look forward to more fun adventures in the next year .

Another update as to what we have been upto over the last couple of months. We have been making scarecrows for scarecrow day, Space day we had lots of fun making alien biscuits, reading the Smeds and the Smoos and creating pictures of rockets and planets. A visit to Nixons farm to see the animals , goats, birds, ferrets, rabbits Guinea pigs and collect some hay for our own Guinea pigs. We have been doing lots of autumn crafts with all the things we have collected , conkers , acorns, and all the different shaped leaves from the trees. Another day we had a trip to our childminder friend to collect lots of apples from her garden , the children had fun picking them from the tree with the litter pickers and we used some for paint stamping and we took some home so Carol could make some lovely apple pies . A day out at the children's center, lots of fun on the tractors and trikes and practicing our climbing skills. We then had a chat with the gardeners about all the things they were growing in the greenhouses and we got some veggies to take home for lunch .Day out at Dunham Massey for an Autumn scavenger hunt and a wander around the gardens looking at all the flowers and vegetables.We had a visit to a pumpkin farm to get some pumpkins for Halloween and had fun practicing our gross motor skills getting the children to hold golf tees and hammer them into a pumpkin, one of our halloween craft activities included creating bubbling witches cauldron pictures .We did some poppy pictures by stamping with apples and then created some poppy like biscuits which went down well.Thats us all upto date for now but we have started our Christmas crafts so we will look forward to let you all see what we get up to in December.
