The Scrap Lab CIC

Well I’m all packed and ready to do some scarecrow making with Friends Of Sholver Millennium Green at their event today!

I have a limited amount of clothes to stuff (mostly my son’s old pyjamas 😂), so please bring any clothes or specific accessories you would like to use.

The theme for the scarecrow competition is “jobs and and roles in a village setting”, so things like shopkeepers, dog walkers, or vicars (not Spider-Man or Frankenstein! 😅)

UPDATE: I won’t be at Truffet Park today with the Scrap Lab table as I’ll be running another stall (I wanted to do both, but turns out that was a bit ambitious lol).

I’ll be running the fairy door painting activity instead, so feel free to come say hello- I’ll bring my Scrap Lab leaflets if anyone wants some info to take away 😊 x

I’ll be running the scarecrow making at the Millennium Green Day on Monday too- which looks like it will be another fantastic day- come see me! X

Back at Sholver and Moorside community centre today with Better Active Oldham- What great masks everyone made! Well done guys 🥳

Another day, another workshop! This time I was making a giant cardboard marble run with a lovely group from Barnardo's Rochdale SENDiass. Everyone was amazing and worked so hard to get the run working ❤️

Had a great time making lots of foodie crafts at the Fun and Fuel Holiday Club today with Better Active Oldham! See you again next week 😃

I had a great day helping out at the home ed sports day with Better Active Oldham! All the kids and parents gave it their all, well done guys! And remember to send me pictures of your entries to the Captain Scraps Challenge 🦸‍♂️

Wednesday is the last home ed Junk Box session (hopefully not ever, at least until after the summer holidays), so let’s go out with a bang, rattle, shake, and toot! Come down to Smalley and help make some noise 💥🙉
