Old Hall Drive Academy
Everyone had an amazing time and the horses enjoyed all the attention.
A big thank you to all our parents that came to watch and also for supporting us over the past few months.
Don't forget we will also be selling ice lollies (50p each) in the playground after school with all proceeds going to UNICEF.
On Friday lunchtime the banner was fixed onto one of the platform fences and it looked amazing.
However, today we received the news that within a few hours our beautiful banner had been vandalised. This is extremely sad news for our children and the people from the Community Railway Partnership who arranged for the banner to be printed and then donated it to the school.
Logan’s mum and Mrs Taylor read a story to the children and they had a lovely time choosing a book that they wanted to take back to school.
Thank you to all the parents who helped on the trip.
Welcome to the Old Hall Drive Academy page. We hope you find this page helpful, for more in

Autumn is here and as the month of magic approaches why not take advantage of the wonders of nature and it’s magical benefits by having a day in one of many local National Trust parks for free!
A blustery day is perfect to dance in falling leaves, the rain doesn’t need to stop the fun when puddles are there for everyone, treasures can be found right under our toes as down fall the conkers, acorns and pinecones.
We truly believe that with the right clothing no weather is bad weather, and being outside can be beneficial to both our bodies and minds, follow the link below and see where you might go.

Our first trip took us to Bean n Brush art cafe in Sale. The children all carefully painted their chosen pot. They can’t wait to see them again when they have been fired and glazed. It was a great day out!
Today is International Democracy Day. Democracy is one of our British Values and we uphold this at Old Hall Drive by voting for our school counsellors who help to shape the experiences of our pupils. Watch this space as we will be announcing our 2023-2024 school counsellors next week.

We know how expensive school uniform can be! We are doing a uniform swap event on Monday 24th July! This is a great opportunity to bring in any outgrown uniform (preferably clean and in good condition) and swap it for bigger sizes! If you don’t have anything to swap don’t worry, you’re still welcome to take any items you’d like for next year! This will be held in the main playground outside the Reception playground! We hope you’ll all take advantage of this opportunity. 🙂
