A passionate Year 6 taught our Mindful Mentors a lovely strategy that can help our bodies and minds to return to a calm place even when unexpected or stressful events happen. The children wrote down things that were outside of their control outside the square and things that they can control on the inside. A great example of leadership from our year 6s.

Will it help to keep the oceans plastic free?
Will it be able to sort out your recycling?

Supporting kids at Old Hall Drive through Pete’s ultramarathon
Pete is taking on a 110km run along Hadrian’s Wall to raise funds for Kiwi Club experiences at Old Hall Drive, a school that provides stability and opportunity for children facing real challenges in Manchester. These outings—like trips to the cinema or city visits—make a lasting difference in their confidence and outlook.
This fundraiser is just getting started, and sharing helps so much in these early days. Even if you can't donate, a quick share can help it reach people who may be able to support.
Please consider sharing or donating if this cause speaks to you. Every bit of support helps more kids access these meaningful experiences.
