What an incredible five days in Naples! ๐ฎ๐น
Our students enjoyed a packed itinerary full of history, culture, geography and unforgettable experiences. Highlights included exploring the ancient ruins of Pompeii, hiking the slopes of Mount Vesuvius, and discovering the fascinating sites of Lake Averno and Pozzuoli, including the Flavian Amphitheatre and the Temple of Serapis.
The group also enjoyed a fully guided tour of the stunning Amalfi Coast and ventured underground to explore the spectacular Caves of Pertosa. To round off the trip, students took part in a traditional pizza-making class, learning the art behind one of Italy's most famous dishes!
Throughout the week, our students were a credit to the school, embracing every opportunity to learn, explore and experience Italian culture. Thank you to all staff who supported the visit and helped make it such a memorable trip.
Take a look at some of our favourite moments from an amazing week in Naples! ๐ธ๐๐๐๏ธ

Kindness is priceless and invaluable. Be the source of someone's joy today. Every small gesture, kind word, or moment of patience contributes to a better world.
Inspired by the incredible efforts of the United Foundation , we celebrate their dedication to giving back, supporting communities, and transforming lives daily. Recently, Mr. Williams has handed out kindness wristbands to further spread this message.
Letโs amplify the message of kindness above all else.

As our Year 11 pupils continue their GCSE exams, we wanted to share a few gentle reminders and wellbeing tips to help during this busy time. ๐
Exams can sometimes feel overwhelming, so remember to pause, breathe, and take your time. Reading each question carefully, using simple breathing exercises, and staying positive after each exam can all help you feel calmer and more focused.
Most importantly, be kind to yourself. You can only do your best โ and we are incredibly proud of every single one of you for the hard work, resilience, and determination you have shown throughout this exam period. ๐
If exam stress is becoming difficult to manage, support is always available in school:
โข Speak to your Head of Year, Form Tutor, or any trusted member of staff in school
โข Visit the Childline Calm Zone (https://shorturl.at/f61ZH) or Mind UK (https://shorturl.at/J6jJg) for calming activities and coping strategies
Keep going, Year 11 โ youโve got this! ๐

Last week, we had an exciting visit from Footballer and Author Seth Burkett. On Thursday, we had three separate assemblies for Years 7, 8, and 9. During these, Seth gave an overview of his career and background, including his time in Brazil and Sri Lanka. He also spoke about how he became an author. He ran some football skills sessions with Years 8 and 9 as well .
We then had Workshop with a small group of students. This session focused on reading, the joys of reading, along with some one to one discussion and questions.
The final session took place in the library with Years 8 and 9. This was a creative workshop where the boys worked in groups to write an advertisement for a Nike football boot. They were fantastic, showing great imagination, teamwork, and the ability to bounce ideas off each other. Mr Williams also joined this session and kindly donated three prizes for the group.
Seth was excellent throughout, very personable and approachable, and he answered all questions with good humour. The pupils were fully engaged and really benefited from his visit.
