This week is Anti-bullying week, Social Sense brought “RUDifferent?” To Harrop Fold students a few years ago.
The aim of this intervention was to change cultural norms, creating new visibility of positive attitudes and behaviours often overlooked in terms of favour of negative awareness bias. Our approach to this was inspired by years of academic research from Wes Perkins and Alan Berkowitz and in particular evidence based social norming bystander interventions, which we later adapted to measurably change attitudes on domestic abuse.

The UniversityofSalford have today released an academic paper evidencing the effectiveness of our programme.
