Good morning.

Asda are now running a Cashpot for Schools fundraising campaign where anyone with an Asda Rewards account can donate 0.5% of the total spend, each time you go to do your shopping to a nominated school. We understand that times are hard at the moment but if anyone would like to donate to ourselves, that would be wonderful. A few parents have already signed up which means we get a extra donation from Asda of £50. This brings to total raised so far to an amazing £70 !!
The scheme is running until the 30th November 2024 and I have added a link below for more details.

From September , we will be moving all parent consents to Arbor. This will mean you will be able to see what you have given consent for online rather than filling a Microsoft Forms document.
To view consents, from you Arbor page, click on the green bar that says View Student Profile, and this will then take you to the page where you can give or declined consent for.
Can you please ensure you have logged on and checked that you are happy with all of the information on this page as from September, this is what we will be looking at.
I have added a link to the parent guide below.

If you do not go on and check your consents, Arbor automatically add positive consent on all items unless you change this.

I have been made aware that there has been an issue with the FSM vouchers and parents with multiple children have only received one voucher. I have made a tweak and re sent all vouchers, so this should correct the problem.

Polite reminder.

On Wednesday 24th July, our kitchen will be holding a BBQ party lunch to celebrate the end of year. If the weather is nice enough, we will be able to have our lunch outside. Children will be able to choose burgers, sausage etc. Vegetarian options will be available.

If your child normally has a packed lunch but you would like them to have a lunch on this occasion, please choose a one-off meal on the date above on Arbor in the meals section. It doesn’t matter which option you choose as long as it is a meat or vegetarian option as the children can choose what they would like on the day.
If your child already has a school meal, you will not need to do anything as they will automatically receive this meal.

Can we remind all parents that we are a nut-free school, as we have a few children who suffer from a severe nut allergy. As this is a potentially life-threatening condition, we ask that you do not provide your child with any products containing nuts in their lunch box or for their snack. Some examples of foods which contain nuts:

• Fruit and cereal bars

• Chocolate bars or sweets

• Sesame seed rolls (children allergic to nuts may also have a severe reaction to sesame)

• Nutella

• Peanut butter

• Cakes made with nuts

• Muesli bars

Any products sent to school containing nuts will be taken away for safety.
