Your most authentic life is waiting. Take the first step today.

Your limiting beliefs are not who you are — they are simply outdated stories you’ve been telling yourself.

If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or held back, it’s time to pause and get curious:
What goal have you delayed — and why?
Where are you struggling — and what story are you telling yourself about it?
What patterns show up in your self-talk — and are they truly your truth?

Your real power lies in identifying these hidden beliefs and choosing a new story — one that empowers you, not limits you.

Awareness is the first step. Transformation follows.

It’s time to rewrite your future.

If you want to grow, you must protect the space in which you grow.

Setting healthy boundaries is not selfish — it is an act of self-respect, self-love, and leadership over your own life.

With strong boundaries, you will:
Strengthen your relationships
Elevate your self-worth
Protect your mental wellbeing
Avoid the cycle of burnout
Cultivate true independence
Ensure your needs are valued and met
You have permission to say yes to yourself. You have permission to say no to what no longer serves you.

It’s time to build the life you deserve — one boundary at a time.

Designing your authentic self begins with small but powerful shifts:
Set healthy boundaries.
Adjust your mindset around limiting beliefs.
Get clear on what you truly value.

When you align your boundaries, beliefs, and values, you don't just find yourself — you create yourself.

A huge thank you to Professor Sir Sam Everington OBE! We were honoured to have him share his wisdom with our Health Coaching students, diving into health, lifestyle medicine, community, nature, and social prescribing.

It’s inspiring to see GPs who genuinely believe that good health is about more than just medication—there’s so much more available to help people thrive! It aligns with our beliefs here at Active Health Group and is also a massive part of the work of the incredible Gorton Monastery, which we are very privileged to call home.

This is a must-watch for anyone in healthcare, wellness, or even if you’re on your own health journey.

Neuroplasticity Part One - What Exactly Is It? 24/02/2025

Our brains are а mysterious and magnificent operating system and possess a high number of amazing qualities.

The amazingness of our brains is most prominent and obvious during childhood. We go from a cute blob of meat to being able to walk, run, talk, and think abstractly. This is thanks to neuroplasticity.

The brain before 25 is a plasticity machine. It strengthens all the needed connections and mostly discards the ones you don’t need resulting in you being a functional human in society.

The brain is a map of our own individual experience, but why is it built like this?

3 Ways To Practice Positive Thinking 19/02/2025

What Is Positive Thinking? Positivity is defined as the practice of being optimistic in attitude. It's the opposite of negativity, which is the tendency to see the "glass half empty" with a mental attitude focused on challenges, obstacles, and failures.

Being positive isn't about pretending that everything is okay and that suffering doesn't exist in the world; instead, it's about having the mindset that negative emotions are not inherently bad, that they won't last forever, and that they can be controlled and even benefited from.

You may have noticed I’ve been a little quiet on here recently, and I wanted to share why. Since taking on a board role at The Monastery in Manchester, I’ve been fully immersed in a truly exciting project—setting up the Integrative Health practice at this incredible heritage site.

Last week, we officially launched the service, and I couldn’t be more thrilled! This new venture brings together holistic and evidence-based approaches to health and well-being, creating a space where individuals can access complementary therapies, expert guidance, and a truly integrative approach to healing.

It’s been a whirlwind of planning, collaboration, and hands-on work, but the journey is just beginning. A huge thank you to Christian and Sanam, who have been amazing, to Nik who is getting the student clinic up and running, and to the Monastery team for their support!

If you haven't you visited The Monastery before, there is always something on, so come and visit!!
