A huge well done to our Y6 cohort today after completing their first day of SATS!

The resilience and determination has been unmatched and we couldn’t be prouder!

Happy 100th Birthday Sir David Attenborough! 🎈 🐢

Children across the school completed a variety of actives and fact files to learn more about Attenborough’s impact on Planet Earth before presenting what they found! 🌍

The story from Little People Big Dreams made for a fantastic quiz! 🐝

Our fantastic new EYFS outdoor area is coming along amazingly! We can’t wait for our children to explore and learn in it! 🐝

Here is the latest copy of our newsletter from Mrs Tatham which has also been sent to parents and carers on Arbor! Congratulations to all the Easter Egg competition winners and well done to those who also won raffle prizes. Thank you to those who supported our raffle which raised £100 for school outdoor provision for our children! Wishing all our pupils and their families a very happy Easter break! 🐝

5RC took a trip down to Salford Quays this morning to take part in some water sport activities!

Children thoroughly enjoyed themselves in the challenges of kayaking and canoeing, as well as learning about water safety during their time on the water. 🐝

Yesterday afternoon, the children of 3CK took part in a Nature Championship session focused on surveying the school environment. They used simple techniques, such as tally charts and identification guides to observe and record different plants and animals. 🔍 🐜 🐛 🍃

They also enjoyed hunting for minibeasts in different areas! Working in groups, they developed their observation and teamwork skills while learning about local biodiversity within our grounds! 🐝

As part of our 70th celebrations, Peel Hall welcomed Louise and Jason from Diamond Awl Leather who lead a workshop allowing children to create their own key Ring, complete with our Peel Hall logo!

Children showed fantastic communication and patience during their workshop and produced some fantastic Key Rings. Thank you again Louise & Jason! Diamond Awl Leather Workshop 🐝

Our EYFS redevelopment is well underway! All the concrete flags have been lifted and work has begun on building our very own tree house! 🐝
