Our friends at Ravenair Flying School are looking to sponsor Flying Instructor ratings :
Ravenair strongly believes in inspiring future talent, and recognises the need for continued investment in upcoming talent. We are therefore looking to sponsor a number of candidates for a full Flight Instructor (FI) rating, bonded for 2 years post qualification. Suitable candidates need to hold, or plan to hold, a UK CPL(A) by April 2026, and have a strong desire to teach.
Ravenair offers a very unique opportunity, with the potential for our sponsored FIs to also gain valuable experience working for our aerial survey team, conducting commercial and specialised operations all over Europe. There are also further opportunities available for other instructor rating add-ons and progression into teaching of other courses.
Please complete this form to express your interest (including your contract details) by the end of January 2026 at the latest https://lnkd.in/e3vPihFj The link is also posted on our Flying School website landing page. Candidates will be screened, and successful students will be invited to interview.

We're very lucky to announce Ron Allan has joined our instructor team here at NWA, bringing a wealth of flying and competition aerobatics experience.
An aeronautical engineering graduate, Ron has been a professional pilot for most of his life, though this happened almost by chance after his father encouraged him to take a flying lesson in a Chipmunk at Blackpool Airport. Almost immediately, Ron was hooked.
After his PPL, he gradually increased his experience until he qualified as a commercial pilot. He has instructed for most of his life, and flew aerobatics at Advanced Competition level for many years.
He retired from TUI Airways having flown thousands
of hours on the Boeing 737, 757 and 767. He still loves flying and hopes he can help others along the way.
He enjoys holidays with his wife, son, daughters and grandchildren, who (he hopes) keep him young.
