ππ Our Year 10 students recently enjoyed an inspiring visit, gaining a first-hand experience of higher education and campus life.
Throughout the day, students explored different study pathways, discovered how their GCSE choices can shape future opportunities, learned about the benefits of higher education, toured the campus, and worked collaboratively to design their own student society.
The visit encouraged students to think about their future aspirations, build confidence in their potential, and see themselves succeeding in higher education.

Before half term, a group of our Year 9 Geographers visited The University of Manchester to take part in the Young People's Humanitarianism Conference.
Students were challenged to respond to a realistic disaster scenario: a wildfire threatening Manchester. Working as key stakeholders, they had to make real-time decisions to help protect the city and its communities.
It was a fun, interactive, and thought-provoking day, giving students the opportunity to put their Geography skills into practice alongside some of the country's leading disaster management specialists.

Over the May Bank Holiday weekend, our Year 9 students enjoyed a wonderful pilgrimage to Lindisfarne (Holy Island) with the Diocese of Salford.
Known as the βcradle of Christianity in the North,β the island provided a special opportunity for prayer, reflection, and time with God. Blessed with beautiful weather and stunning scenery, it was a truly memorable and faith-filled experience.
