Thank you Robert for your testimonial.

Your daughter's confidence has developed brilliantly and we are looking forward to having her back with us soon.

""We found the online tutoring was excellent. Our 10 year old daughter moved through the different tasks and exercises at her own pace. Habab was excellent too, extremely patient and our daughter enjoyed being taught by her. We are definitely returning in the new school year.""

Your Y6 child needs to keep practising the new skills they learnt.

Most secondary schools test their new arrivals to understand the support and set they need to be in.

We want to help, so we are going to post tips all the way through summer of fun things your children can do to keep those skills sharp.

Our next suggestion is simple.

Give your child a simple task such as writing a shopping list. See if you can help and praise without writing the list for them. When they can link the practical task of shopping and food, with their list, it will help them understand why writing is so important.

Win win!

Transitioning from primary to secondary school marks an important change in your child’s life.

They are growing up!

You can help your child’s successful transition with careful and sensitive preparation. There are four ways you can help your child through their transition:

1. Encourage their feelings.
2. Help them connect to their school.
3. Building friendships and relationships.
4. Empowering your child by building confidence and independence.

Over the next 8 weeks My Own Tutor Manchester will be putting up links and articles to help you help your child with their big move.

Let us know how this series helps you with your child’s big move.

The first writing was pictographs on clay tablets.

Writing helps you remember information.

According to a NTNU study, children and adults remember information better if they’ve written notes instead of using a keyboard.

My Own Tutor Manchester has a huge announcement!

We have partnered with Salford City Football Club's Foundation 92 to launch a new booster education programme in schools!

We hope to help young people to improve their mental and physical health, as well as academic ability, through combined academic and football training. This will be a high-quality programme that will generate life-changing habits through education and sports participation in a fun and challenging environment.

We are really excited about this new programme and are looking forward to helping children at school, as well as, after school.

Your Y6 child needs to keep practising the new skills they learnt.

Most secondary schools test the new children to understand the support and set they need to be in.

We want to help, so we are going to post tips all the way through summer of fun things your children can do to keep those skills sharp.

Our fourth suggestion is your local library’s reading challenge. The library will have a sticker book, suggestions on what to read and someone will talk to the children about their books. When you pick out the reading books remember picture books are as important because they give children a sense of mastery over skills they’ve learnt in class. Children love looking at the pictures too.

Win win!

No matter what, school is done and your child comes home excited.

They will have their 1-2-1 lesson or their group lesson with My Own Tutor Manchester. They've been with us since year 4 and love the online portal. They can hop on any time, and they love the games between lessons.

You've watched your child's confidence increase. They are doing well in class and reaching their targets.

You've tried other expensive centres, but your child stays with us. School may be disrupted, but your child is getting ahead with the consistent teaching from My Own Tutor Manchester.

If you'd like to help your child, call or text +44 7799 949648 and ask for Habab.

Do you know how My Own Tutor Manchester works?

Secondary school students face many challenges, from year 7 where they encounter the significant difference between Primary and Secondary school, to the preparation for GCSEs.

The best way to prepare for exams is through regular practice and guidance in the years which lead up to exams. Not just a last minute panic cramming before the exams.

The My Own Tutor method, used over time, builds that same confidence in students to perform in the high-stress atmosphere of exams.

Call Habab today to get started or book your place for the Autumn term, +44 7799 949648.
