Colourful and Creative Fun! ✨

Our little learners have been getting creative with playdough, cutters, rollers and colourful fabrics, exploring textures, shapes and colours along the way! 🌈💕

From pressing and rolling to squishing and moulding, this hands-on activity is a fantastic way to develop fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination and imagination, all while having lots of fun! 👐🧠

🍕🎓 Pizza Party 🎓🍕
Our preschoolers have been busy getting ready for their leaving party, what better way to celebrate than with a delicious pizza party! ❤️🍕
The children got hands-on from the very beginning, making their own pizza dough, before rolling it out and adding all their favourite toppings. 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳🍅🧀
There were lots of floury fingers, big smiles and plenty of excitement as everyone created their very own pizzas! And, of course, the best part was sitting together and enjoying our delicious creations at our special pizza party. 😋🍕
A wonderful way to celebrate our amazing preschoolers before they take their next big step and begin their adventures at school. 🎒✨

👩‍🍳 WE’RE HIRING – NURSERY COOK 👨‍🍳

30 hours per week | Monday–Friday
💷 £13.07 per hour
🚗 PLUS £50 per month travel-to-work allowance

We’re looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Nursery Cook to join our team at Little Learning Ladder Nursery.

You’ll play an important role in our nursery, preparing fresh, nutritious and balanced meals and snacks for children aged 0–5 years. 🥕🍎🥦

⭐ The role
• 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday
• Working hours will fall between 7:15am and 5:00pm
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for our children
• Follow food safety, hygiene and allergen procedures
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen
• Cater appropriately for allergies and individual dietary requirements

👩‍🍳 We’re looking for someone who:
• Has previous experience in kitchen/food preparation
• Has a good understanding of food allergens and dietary requirements
• Is organised, reliable and able to work independently
• Is willing to complete a Food Hygiene qualification
• Is able to undergo an Enhanced DBS check

🌟 Full training will be provided.
💛 What we offer

🎓 Graduation 2026 🎓

On Friday, we planned a very special graduation ceremony and party for our wonderful children before they embark on their next big adventure — starting school! 🎓❤️

🌞🌑 Exploring the Solar Eclipse in our Blue Room! 🌑🌞
The children have been learning all about solar eclipses and were fascinated to discover how the moon can pass in front of the sun, creating such an amazing natural phenomenon.

We then got creative and made our very own solar eclipse pictures! 🎨✨ Some children chose to glue the moon over the sun, while others experimented with smudging chalk outwards to recreate how the eclipse might appear as it develops.

It was wonderful to see their curiosity, creativity and individual ideas shine through! 💙

Before the paint washes away and the glitter disappears, remember this... messy play is so much more than making a mess! 🎨✨

Messy play helps children develop creativity, problem-solving skills, fine and gross motor skills, confidence, language, and sensory awareness. It encourages curiosity, exploration, and learning through hands-on experiences – all while having lots of fun!

So next time your little one comes home a little messier than when they arrived, know they've had a day full of meaningful learning. 💛🖐️

✨ Weekly Jo Jingles Visit 🎶💛

On Friday’s our little ones have a fantastic time welcoming Jo Jingles to nursery! From singing and dancing to playing instruments and joining in with interactive musical activities, there were lots of smiles and laughter all around.

Music sessions like these help to build confidence, encourage communication, develop coordination, and most importantly, are so much fun! 🎵🎤🥁
