Chester Road Private Day Nursery We are a privately run day nursery in Stretford,Manchester 🌼 There has been a nursery on site for around sixty years.

The nursery re-opened as Chester Road Day Nursery in 2004, following an extensive refurbishment. The nursery caters children between birth and five years. The nursery has incorporated the early years foundation stage into the curriculum in line with the stage and development for each age group. The nursery is spacious and well equipped with a large secure garden to the rear. We open Monday - Frida

y, 7.30 - 18.00. 51 weeks a year excluding bank holidays. We currently provide a school drop off and collection service for St Anne's and Victoria Park primary schools. We aim to achieve the highest standards possible throughout the nursery by:

*Maintaining a stable, caring, safe, well organised and stimulating environment.

*Working with parents/carers to build a close, trusting relationship.

*Developing a balanced early years curriculum appropriate to all aspects of a Childs development and incorporating their interested and needs

*Closely monitoring all seven areas of the EYFS and offering regular communication and discussion of this with the Child's parents/carers

*Offering a freshly, prepared, home cooked and nutritionally balanced menu which reflects diverse dishes. Children have access to drinking water at all times. Special dietary requirements are catered for.

School readiness isn't about counting and phonics but rather everyday skills and early concepts which can be practiced at home in fun, everyday opportunities.

As we move into the last school term of the settings will start talking more and more about the move to 'big school' - re-assure your little ones that you, and their new teachers, will support them with this transition and be there to talk to them about any worries they may have.
