A huge well done to all of our Children for taking part in this year's Sponsored boogie bounce, raising money for children in need.
Thank you to our families for your kind donations, we will announce the final figure on Friday.
Don't forget there is still time to purchase a £2 raffle ticket for the trampoline.
Last week was an emotional time for Flowery Field as they marked the Dazzling Daffodils children moving on to school and starting an exciting new chapter in their lives.
The children donned their graduation cap and gowns for photos then collected their scrolls.
Everyone enjoyed a fun filled party, celebrating in style.
They had so much fun from jumping on the bouncy castle to cooling down in the paddling pool with a spray mist.
They even had an ice cream van who served them delicious ice-creams with a choice of toppings.
The children continued into the afternoon playing party games, winning prizes.
From the staff at Flowery Field, we wish all of the school leavers lots of luck as they move onto big school.
We will miss you all dearly.

On Thursday, Children 4 Most’s staff and children celebrated World Book Day 📚
It was so lovely to see everyone’s imagination brought to life when taking inspiration from their favourite books. Plus, it was great to see such a wide range of characters!

Last week, the children at Flowery Fields were learning all about the Chinese New Year 🎉
In the Dazzling Daffodils room, it was fun learning all about the Chinese zodiac and how each year is represented by a different animal. This year, everyone learnt is the year of the ox.
For the Talented Tulips, circle time was focused on dragons. After painting a dragon of their very own, the children danced along to music 🎶
Meanwhile, the Little Sunflowers enjoyed sensory-themed activities including creating fun red and gold water. They then watched a puppet show which also included a dragon.
With some brightly coloured pom poms and musical instruments, the Baby Blossoms danced to Chinese music too.
To make the most of the festivities, the children made some amazing decorations, including Chinese lanterns that they could take home!

At Squirrels Wood, the children are learning all about space 🛸
Last week, the children made their own rockets with junk modelling material. It was lovely to see how everyone put so much effort into this through using a range of colours and making different shapes.
Using bicarbonate of soda and vinegar we took our spaceships to the woodland area and let them ‘blast off’ 🚀
To learn more about galaxies, the children used syringes of coloured water and made cool patterns in a plastic dish. The preschoolers loved watching the colours swirl together to make their own galaxies 🪐

HEALTHY MINDS WEEK 🧠❤️
Last week was Healthy Minds Week 2021 for children. The theme this year was ‘Express Yourself’, allowing you to express your true self and most importantly, feeling good about it!
At Flowery Fields, the children channelled their feelings and emotions through a range of activities.
In the Baby Blossoms room, key person relationships have been developing with the new babies that are settling into the room. Through den making, the babies developed their sensory skills, allowing them to discover sound and texture with various musical instruments and soft toys. Observing the lights and patterns they made, the Blossoms were delighted with the light box.
Meanwhile, Little Sunflowers have been expressing their feelings and emotions through the use of stories and emotion puppets.
The Talented Tulips learned how to express their feelings through mirror play. A friendly communication space was also created, allowing the children to say whether they were feeling happy or sad.
While some groups talked about what emotions you can experience, the Dazzling Daffodils learned new ways to make themselves feel relaxed. Through different movement and breathing techniques used in yoga, the children spoke about their feelings in an open and relaxed environment 🧘♂️🍃
