Manchester Society of Architects Championing and nurturing the present and future architects of Manchester Past Presidents have included many prestigious Manchester architects.

Manchester Architects (formerly known as the Manchester Society of Architects - MSA) was formed in 1865, it was affiliated to become a branch of the RIBA in 1891, and has a membership numbering approximately 800. The Society is the largest in the North West region of the RIBA and our members comprise approximately 45% of the entire region’s total. The illustrious history of the MSA charts Manchest

✨ What an incredible evening at the MSA Awards 2026! ✨

We’re delighted to share some highlights from this year’s event.

A huge thank you to all the practices who joined us and to everyone who submitted such exceptional work. The talent, creativity, and passion on display this year were truly inspiring. Manchester’s future looks incredibly bright with such an amazing community of architects helping to shape it. 🏙️

Following the incredible success of last year’s awards and the Making Matters Exhibition, we’re excited to bring back the much-loved afterparty and introduce new award categories to recognise even more outstanding work and craft across the region.

The ceremony will be held at the remarkable The Stoller Hall – a unique venue in the heart of the city, offering an unforgettable setting for this special occasion.

Tickets include food + refreshments and afterparty admission.

*Those who have purchased a student ticket MUST bring their Student ID with them on the evening, to present when registering at the door.
