Goodbye, May! What a fun and productive month you have been! 👋

Today, we are joined by our Academic Team, who are looking wonderfully summery! ☀️

We expect June will be a very busy month as we move into our peak season. We look forward to sharing more news and updates in the coming weeks. Until then, we wish you all the best.

Our Intermediate students made the most of the warm weather this week by exploring the streets of Manchester in search of various film locations. 🎬👀

Our students took pictures of the film locations for Peaky Blinders, The Crown, The Darkest Hour, and Morbius. Needless to say, this was quite an energetic and engaging lesson! ☀️

Studying English at Kings Hall College isn’t always reserved for the classroom. Our students are also encouraged to improve their English language skills outside of the classroom by taking trips to various locations in the city centre to complete topical activities.

We suspect that all of our lessons will take place inside next week (courtesy or the rather damp weather forecast 🌧️), but we look forward to sharing more classroom stories in and around Manchester when the weather improves! 😊

It’s all smiles and happy faces in our online class. 😃

In last week’s class, our online students entered a virtual coffee shop to practise their English skills. The students were tasked with answering a set of questions relating to their preferences when ordering coffee at a coffee shop. ☕️

Online classes at Kings Hall College are designed to provide students with the comfort and flexibility to study at a time that is most suitable for them. For more information about our online classes, please get in touch.

Happy bank holiday Monday, everyone! We hope you are all having a wonderful day! ☀️

There are many ways to celebrate a bank holiday, but we think that one of the best ways to relax is to enjoy a delicious cup of coffee or tea, just like Baraa and Rania here! Our students are excellent coffee brewers, it seems! ☕️

Our hard-working staff are making the most of their time off today, but don’t worry, we will be back tomorrow to welcome our students back to the college! 🤩

Happy Friday, everyone! 🥳

We would like to say a huge congratulations to this week’s leavers, Bee Treasure Hunt winners, and Friday Challenge winners! We sure have a lot to celebrate this Friday! 🤩

This week’s Friday Challenge saw our students compete in 8 back-to-back activities, covering a variety of English language questions, general knowledge, and even a creative drawing exercise. Well done to Camila’s team for avoiding elimination and winning first place.

Secondly, we would like to congratulate Sarah, Rania, and Albaraa for finishing first, second, and third respectively in this year’s Bee Treasure Hunt. Our winner, Sarah, managed to find 47 of the 100 bees hidden around the college. That’s certainly an impressive feat! Well done!

Finally, and by no means least, we would like to say well done to our leavers this week. You have both worked extremely hard and your teachers are extremely proud of your achievements. Well done to Abdullah and Sarah!

That’s a wrap from us this week. We hope everyone has a great weekend and we look forward to seeing everyone next Tuesday! 😊

🫖 Happy International Tea Day! 🫖

Would you care to join us for a spot of tea on this fine Thursday afternoon? 🧐

Since the UK is a tea-loving nation, it only seems fitting to incorporate tea into our school life, especially on International Tea Day. Earlier this morning, our students and staff took part in a tea tasting event. Whoever correctly guessed the flavour of each tea would earn themselves a ‘Tea Connoisseur’ card.

Our buttermint tea appeared to produce a few disgruntled and perplexed expressions, but it seems like the caramelised biscuit, vanilla and nutmeg, and earl grey teas went down just nicely! 😋

What is your favourite type of tea? ☕️

🍯🐝 It’s World Bee Day! 🐝🍯

World Bee Day celebrates the importance of bees and their impact on the planet. Not only are bees vital for our survival, they are also a unique symbol of Manchester’s industrial history.

Just as Manchester’s worker bees help Manchester develop and grow, our students and staff (our very own little worker bees) help our college flourish and prosper. We like to think of Kings Hall College as being like a beehive; our students and members of staff work hard to ensure that our college is a fun and exciting place to be!

Our students and members of staff are choosing to BEE HAPPY today! ⭐️

We are joined today by our FUNctional English class! 🤩

Our students were tasked with creating a 3-minute presentation about a piece of technology. Abdullah chose to talk about PCs, and explained to the rest of the class what they are and why he thinks they are important.

We look forward to sharing more videos from this class soon! Don’t forget to check back again soon! 😊
