Roobyloos Nursery Worsley

Roobyloos Nursery will be holding our annual summer fair this year, on Saturday 11th July! ☀️ Holding different activities for the community such as a tombola, lucky dip, face painting and more!
We are asking if there are any small businesses who would like to come and take part!? Where we are asking for £10 for a pitch to come and sell your products and promote your business at the fair and enjoy the day with us here!
We are also looking for a food van (maybe a couple) to come along if able to! 🌭🍔🍩
And a bouncy castle company to come and pitch for the day, charging and managing their own customers 🏰
Over the next few days we will also be reaching out to the companies who have attended the fair before, to invite to join us again!

More information will be shared once all plans are in place, for everybody to be invited!

Last week some of our preschool children enjoyed a trip out to our local garden centre. We chose the flowers that we liked the best to take back to nursery and all take care of together, to watch them bloom 🌸

and of course we had to stop at the park on our way back to nursery! ☀️

On Monday, we celebrated Mother's day with a very special Stay & Play 🌻
Each room celebrated their Mummies (and other special ladies) with different themes...

And all of our special Ladies got to take something lovely away with them after the event

The children came dressed as their favourite characters, and enjoyed some fantastic activities linking to our favourite stories 🥰

Pizza Making! 🍕
On Monday for 'National Pizza Day' our Preschool children enjoyed making their own delicious pizzas.
After choosing their own sauce and toppings, our little chefs enjoyed 'baking' their own pizzas in the role play pizza oven, then packaged them up to take home to enjoy for their tea! 👨‍🍳👩‍🍳

Last week for National Story Telling Week we saw some lovely and exciting set ups in our baby room, linking to the books our children all enjoy! 📖
They had a wonderful week, engaging in different types of play and exploration focused around stories, including sensory and malleable play 👐🏼
