With a win under our belts we are beginning to get excited about the World Cup. Our wonderful children in Willows have been creating their own footballs and practising their painting skills.

We came to Nursery dressed in our pyjamas last week and raised a fabulous £83.00 for ‘Children in Need’. An amazing achievement for a small Nursery in these difficult times. Thank you so much for your generosity.

This Friday, we are inviting everyone to come to Nursery, for a small donation, in their pyjamas for a fun filled day celebrating the wonderful charity ‘Children in Need’.
We raised £80.00 last year which was amazing!

2️⃣4️⃣6️⃣NUMBER AND LETTER RECOGNITION 🅰️🅱️🅾️
Today the children in Willows were working hard with Nicola, they had to collect the correct colour and number of pompoms to match each number card.
They went on to work on the whiteboard, matching the letters of the alphabet and thinking of a word which began with each sound.
Phew….a busy morning!

In Elms, the children created their own star constellations this morning. They carefully placed their own stars on the paper and when asked, connected his stars 🌌.

🌺🌺🌺REMEMBRANCE DAY 🌺🌺🌺
On Friday the children learnt all about Remembrance Day. In Willows, they sat and watched a video all about the war, soldiers and why we wear poppies. They created their own poppies using paper bowls and red and black paint. The children listened very well to instructions and made some beautiful creations. The older children sat and clapped for one minute in respect for all of the soldiers that served our country in the war. They were all very well behaved. Well done everyone.

We’ve been busy with numbers in Willows. The children were challenged to put the number cards in order, using the spots to support them to identify the number. They went on to see if they could match the correct number of teddies/people to the number cards.
Our older children were introduced to some maths symbols and challenged to complete simple sums using the teddies to help.
Well done Willows, high expectations which you rose to!
