A 13-18 year old creative digital media college in the heart of MediaCityUK Aldridge UTC @MediaCity is located in the heart of MediaCityUK in Salford Quays.

Our impressive four storey building provides a highly innovative learning space for 400+ students aged 14 to 19. Like at any other school, we teach core academic subjects like English, Maths and Science. But alongside them, we offer four specialist areas of study, aimed at giving you a head start in the creative and digital industries. Pathway 1: TV and Film Production

We’re looking for industry volunteers to support our students!
At AldridgeUTC@MediaCityUK, we specialise in Digital Art & Animation, Film & Television, and Games Design, preparing students for careers in the creative industries.
A key part of our approach is giving students access to real-world industry experiences - and we’re always keen to work with professionals who can help bring learning to life.
We are currently looking for volunteers from the creative sector who would be willing to support our students through:
• Talks or workshops
• Workplace or studio visits
• Work experience opportunities
• Live project briefs
• Portfolio feedback
Even a small amount of time can make a huge difference in helping students build confidence, develop their skills, and understand future career pathways.
These opportunities are offered on a voluntary basis, and we are incredibly grateful for the support of our wider creative community.

Today marks the 100th birthday of Salford. As part of the celebration The Salford Way Poem has been commissioned.
The Salford Way is a powerful, community-led poem created as part of Salford’s Centenary celebrations. Co-written by Salford artists Matt Concannon (Eccles born and bred) and Jody Findley, the poem brings together the voices and experiences of local people.
