We are set to see the appointment of the first ever female Lord (?) Chief Justice with the retirement of Lord Burnett in September. Either Dame Sue Carr or Dame Victoria Sharp will be appointed in the next fortnight. Exciting times for diversity in the legal profession after over 100 male holders of the post across 755 years...!! We might have to update a video or two as a result but it will be a pleasure on this occasion!
