Congratulations to all graduands!

Join the History Department for our Open Days on Saturday 21st June and Saturday 28th June from 9:30am to 3:30pm in the Samuel Alexander Building, A18.

In the first week of June, the History department is delighted to host Professor Lucy Riall, FBA (European University Institute, Florence, and National Museum of Ethnology, Osaka) as Simon Visiting Professor.

Prof. Riall will give a lecture on ‘Migrant Colonialism: South American States and European Empires, c.1830-c.1950’ on 4 June, 4pm, Samuel Alexander Building A 112. All are welcome.

Graduates who finished their UoM course between August and October 2023 are now being contacted by HESA to complete the Graduate Outcomes survey. You have until 28 February 2025 to complete the survey.

David Olusoga on his experiences researching his fantastic 'Black and British: A forgotten History' and the politics of the archive.

Weds 29th 11am-12.30pm, with a chance to discuss any questions you may have about these issues with the man himself!
