Global Running Day π
We have had a fun day joining in with Global Running Day! We enjoyed racing our friends in the garden, trying on some real medals and learning about why exercise is good for us π

Outdoor Enhancements π
As we are an Eco-School nursery, we are always looking at ways to reduce waste and re purpose when we can.
We have recently upcycled some wooden crates and piping in the garden to create some new outdoor areas. These include a water wall, a music wall and a ball drop area! They look wonderful! βΊοΈ

National Children's Gardening Week π·
Throughout this week we have been taking part in Children's Gardening week! We have been helping out with watering the plants in the garden, playing with real fruits and veg in the home corner and much more! π₯
We would love to see any photos of your child getting stuck in with any gardening or similar activities at home (you can add these onto Tapestry for us to see) π

If you haven't already noticed, the Defibrillator has now been fitted on to the nursery building!
Thank you to everyone for your kind donations and for Defibrillators Save Lives for fitting the Defibrillator for us π
This is a wonderful contribution to the local community and although we hope it is never needed, we hope that it is easily accessible to all π

Last week we had a visit from the Oral Health Team, they observed our wonderful team and children taking part in the tooth brushing scheme. We then spent time learning about how important it is to brush our teeth & the children took turns to brush Kevin the Crocodile's teeth ππͺ₯π¦·
The Oral Health Team was very impressed with how we are promoting healthy eating, snacks, activities and good oral health for young children.
We have received the Golden Grin Award πβοΈ
