Thomas More RC College is a Roman Catholic co-educational voluntary aided comprehensive college. In September 2004, we achieved specialist status and became a Mathematics and Computing College. Following our designation as a high performing specialist college we were awarded a second specialism in Applied Learning in 2008. Specialist status has given us increased resources and ICT facilities for t

eaching and learning throughout the college to help our pupils to continue to achieve the highest standards. It has also facilitated a rich and broad curriculum provision and pathways for pupils as they progress to further and higher education. Our specialisms enable us to be a resource for our local community and facilitate out of college learning opportunities for pupils and families.

We are looking forward to welcoming all our pupils back to school on Thursday 3rd September at 8.45am.

The STM Pastoral Team will be on the gates to welcome our pupils and new Year 7s to STM. Ms Emery the Head of Year 7, and the Year 7 Form Tutors will direct the Year 7 pupils to the main hall for their Welcome Assembly with Mr Brophy. Form lists and rooms have been posted on Satchel One for Years 8-11.

Congratulations to our STM Class of 2026! We had lots to celebrate yesterday on our GCSE results day and our Class of 2026 should be very proud of all that they have achieved in their GCSEs and during their time at STM. We will miss our Year 11s but we know they all have very bright futures ahead of them and we wish the Class of 2026 all the best in their future endeavours. During their time at STM they have demonstrated their resilience, motivation, commitment and determination towards their studies and each other. We would to thank all our fantastic parents, carers, and staff for all their support and well done to the Class of 2026 on their fantastic GCSE results!

We would like to wish you all a lovely summer holiday and thank you to all our dedicated staff and outstanding pupils for making our community a very special place to be. Furthermore, thank you to our parents and carers for your ongoing support and commitment to our school.
It has been an absolute delight to see our Year 7s thrive at STM this year and we are looking forward to our new Year 7s joining our excellent school.
