Pupils shown excellent listening skills and asked some fantastic questions about the Islamic faith. Mosque Trips continued on Tuesday as part of Year 8's learning of the Islamic Faith. Today pupils in 8O & 8M got the opportunity to visit Ashton Central Mosque. Pupils listened so well to a talk on Islam in the Prayer Hall - the lovely high ceiling and dome created a nice cool space to learn. Pupils worked hard completing their worksheets based on what they had listened to. Pupils enjoyed trying on different items of clothing. Pupils then got to visit the Wudu area which they will learning about in RE lessons over the next few weeks. Well done Year 8 for listening so well today. Our Mosque Trips conclude on Wednesday with 8A & 8S - we know you'll enjoy your visit!
