There’s nothing wrong with working for someone else.
My father (may Allah grant him jannah) used to say, son as long as your income is halal, as long as you’re fulfilling your obligations to Allah and to others, then do whatever you need to do to provide for your family.
Ignore the noise.
Anyone that tells you there’s something wrong with it is probably just trying to sell you something.
Do I promote working for someone else? Absolutely not.
As Muslims I think we need to lead and innovate. I think we need to partner with Allah. But is it meant for everyone? Absolutely not, and that’s okay.
Working, providing and earning a halal income will always beat doing nothing. And Allah knows best.
Purpose > Dunya
The money, the car, the house, the lifestyle.
None of it fills the gap if you don’t know why you’re chasing it.
I’ve seen people hit every number they set and still feel empty because the goal was dunya without direction.
Purpose comes first.
When you know your why, the dunya serves you.
When you don’t, you serve it.
Trust is the #1 currency in this world and once you understand that, you realize that money is a byproduct of trust.
The less people trust you, the less money you make, period.
The worst thing you can do is nothing because you’re scared of choosing wrong.
Indecision is still a decision.
It’s just the one that guarantees you stay exactly where you are.
Just make the move and Allah will handle the direction.
Before you fix your strategy fix your reason for building in the first place.
