We’re heading back to our favourite dive bar in Birmingham for another night of US bar-style line dancing under neon lights, banging tunes across every genre, and a dancefloor built for letting loose.

Your hosts Maz & Katie will be keeping the energy UP all night with all-level line dances and plenty of your favourite requests.

And when the main event wraps up… the dancefloor stays open and the tunes keep rolling til they kick us out.

Our Duo category is for absolute beginners/beginners/those relatively new to line dancing who want to experience the competition but perhaps don't have the confidence to do it alone (yet!).

Enter as a pair with your best line dancing pal - same dancefloor, same comp energy, same dances you probably already know, just with a friend by your side!

Strummingbird (dance 2)
Ziggy (final)

As a Duo competitor you will dance dances 1&2 during the comp heats (from 1:30pm - around 5pm). Then if you score high enough you will invited back to the floor to dance the final dance! If you smash it there are prizes on the table for both you and your partner and trust us, you're gonna want these prizes (we have ordered some for ourselves because they're just too good and we got jealous 😂)

Stomp It Out is about having fun and expressing yourself on the dancefloor... our judges do not want you to be stressed or having a hard time... if you miss a step no drama, just jump back into the dance and carry on! Prioritise having fun and being yourself... the rest will fall into place 🩵 Oh and don't forget to breath... that's super important.

Every month the dancefloor stays full, loud, and somehow even more fun each time… so we’re doing it all again on Thurs June 18th at Low Places, Digbeth!

If you’ve been thinking “I kinda wanna try line dancing…” this is your sign. No experience needed, no partner needed, and absolutely no pressure - just a room full of good people learning fun dances together to country, pop, rock, hip hop and everything in between 🎶

We’ll teach all the beginner dances step-by-step, throw in some all-level requests throughout the night, and keep the floor moving from start to finish. Whether it’s your first ever class or your fifth time back, you’ll fit right in.
