Yesterday, the babies had a wonderful time , enjoyed exploring a range of coloured paints during a footprint art activity. They observed the paint on their feet and showed interest in the patterns and prints left on the paper. Several babies smiled and vocalised as adults talked about the different colours being used. The babies remained engaged throughout the activity, developing their sensory skills and beginning to explore cause and effect as they noticed how pressing their feet onto the paper created colourful marks.

Baby Room carpet time
During circle time, the babies participated in a singing session with familiar nursery rhymes and action songs. They listened attentively, smiled, and moved their bodies to the rhythm of the music. Some babies attempted to vocalise sounds and words from the songs, while others clapped and waved their hands during action parts. The babies showed enjoyment and engagement throughout the activity, developing their communication skills, listening skills, and awareness of rhythm and melody.

Today the preschool had a busy Morning mixing science exploration to get to know how it changes to another colour. This activity supported communication skills and motor skills.

During play, the children enjoyed exploring the sea animals tuff tray using magnifying glasses and tweezers. They used a magnifying glass to look at and move the sea animals around the tuff tray while others played with the water and felt the texture.
They used vocabulary such as "fish," "shell," "big," and "small," looked at the red star, said " I found a small fish, is a baby shark, and understood the concept of water.
The magnifying glasses encouraged curiosity, and observation skills. This activity supported language development, fine Motor Skills, hand-eye coordination, curiosity, and early scientific exploration.

Today, the caterpillar room had fun brushing their teeth after dinner whilst singing ' This is the way we brush our teeth.
This helps to encourage hygiene, self-care, and independence.

Today the children enjoyed playing in the outdoor tuff tray with cars, construction vehicles, sand and pieces of wood.
They used words such as "dig," "build," "road," and "truck." The truck is stuck, the car moves faster.
The children explored how to move the vehicles through the sand and used the wood to make roads and bridges.
This activity supported their communication, imagination, problem-solving and physical development.

Today the children explored colours and shapes by dipping wooden shapes and stamping them onto paper and also felt the sensory texture of the paint.
The children named and used words such as circle, square, triangle, red paint, blue one, look what I made, stamp, stamp, stamp, more paint, big circle, and I did it, a lot of colours.
This activity supported their creativity, shape and colour recognition, fine motor skills, and early mathematical learning through sensory exploration and mark-making.
