NEWS: Xaverian students’ artistic talents and creativity on display at the annual Art Exhibition 🎨✨

A celebration of imagination, skill, and originality has taken place as students showcased their incredible artwork at the annual exhibition. From striking paintings and detailed illustrations to photography, mixed media, and 3D design, the event highlighted the wide range of creative talent across the College!

Visitors were able to explore powerful personal projects that reflect both technical ability and individual expression, with each piece telling its own unique story! The exhibition also recognised the hard work, dedication, and artistic development students have achieved throughout their studies!

A fantastic showcase of young creative talent and a proud moment for the College community 👏

From Lanyards to Love – Year 13 Leavers Day 2026 🎊💙

NEWS: Xaverians are ready to take the step into medical, dentistry and veterinary careers 📰

27 Xaverian science students have been successful in receiving their offers to study at competitive medical schools across the UK. The students joined Xaverian’s Medics, Dentists and Vets (MDV) Programme, which helped navigate them through the process of researching and applying for places on Medical, Dentistry, Veterinary Science Degrees! 🩺🎓

Huge congratulations to our Year 12 Film Studies student, Inayah Ahmed, who recently secured a place at a special masterclass with Guillermo del Toro at BFI Southbank! 🎥

Held as part of his British Film Institute Fellowship celebrations, the event brought together around 100 young people and BFI alumni from across the UK for an unforgettable opportunity to hear from one of the world’s most celebrated filmmakers! 😎

Inayah described Del Toro as “funny, charming” and deeply passionate about filmmaking, sharing insights into his creative process, inspirations behind Pan’s Labyrinth, and his belief in helping audiences understand “the monster” rather than simply fear it! 🎬

NEWS: From Rusholme to Paris and Bali for Xaverian senior pastoral tutor 📰

There’s more than meets the eye when it comes to Lana Delambre, one of Xaverian’s team of pastoral tutors. Her day job of successfully navigating students through sixth form and onto their next destinations is supplemented by a life outside that includes Freeman of a Livery company, a guest speaker at conferences on neurodiversity in eyecare, a professional photographer/artist who has exhibited in the UK and abroad and received a nomination for the Freedom of the City of London! 👀👓

🎳 Xaverian College Student Ambassadors celebrated the end of another successful year with a fun-filled tenpin bowling party!

The event was a chance to recognise and thank our incredible ambassadors for their hard work, enthusiasm and dedication throughout the year. From supporting events and welcoming visitors to representing the College community with pride, they’ve made a real difference!

A fantastic afternoon of strikes, spares and celebrations was enjoyed by all - well done to every ambassador for your achievements this year! 👏

It was great to welcome StreetDoctors to the College who spent a couple of days educating students about the dangers of injury from knife crime! 🩹

Xaverian College students and StreetDoctors Young Leaders, Kayleigh Condron, Ashwika Kumar, Salma Nawar Adam Raies, supported StreetDoctors Hannah Roberts and Scarlett Ash in teaching students what to do if someone is bleeding and how there is no safe place to stab on the body! 🩺

Sport Report 🏀📢

Xaverian College Elite Basketball Academy One has topped the Basketball England CBL Tier 2 Group A League to be crowned champions for the 2025-26 season 🏆

Xaverian Xtras basketball teams have also been hugely successful, where students have been taking part in a number of competitive leagues and competitions, including the Men’s and Women’s Under-17 teams who made it through to the Dynamik Schools Competition Cups finals. Both Under-17 teams won their respective finals to be crowned Dynamik Schools Under-17 champions, with the women’s team beating Sheffield, 89-77, and the men winning against City of London Academy with a score of 81-71 💪

Xaverian teams also competed at the AoC National Championship Finals in Nottingham. The men’s team powered their way through the group stages to a strong semi-final win against Cardiff, and on to defeat New City College London in the final, crowning them 2026 National Champions. The women’s team came to the event as defending champions and played incredibly well to finish third overall after a three-way tie for first place 🏅
