Another brilliant visit from our other Head Girl from last year! All of the staff were absolutely thrilled to catch up with this wonderful pupil and find out all about life at Urmston Grammar School! ๐Ÿคฉ

We were so happy to hear about transition and how much they are enjoying their new school. It sounds like they have slotted right on in, built some lovely friendships and already busily pursuing interests and favourite subjects.

It is always hard saying goodbye to our Prep 8 pupils but knowing they are so prepared, ready and thrive when they get to secondary school makes it all worthwhile. We are also so happy that our pupils donโ€™t forget about us and love to come back and say hello.

๐Ÿ’ท Young Enterprise! ๐Ÿ’ท

Today our Prep 7&8 pupils ran their Business for a Fiver young enterprise fair. The children have been planning their business over the past few weeks and we were impressed with their ideas and creativity. From cleaning services, to car washes, to bric-a-brac stalls to tuck and bake stalls - every child contributed to their team beautifully. We have certainly see some keen business minds and entrepreneurial spirit! ๐Ÿคฉ

The school community showed up in force to support their efforts and we look forward to seeing if they have managed to turn a profit! We are hoping the pupils are able to return their investors ยฃ5 back with an 8% return on their investment and be left with some profits to take home! We wonder what our young business owners will do with their profit? Will they support a charity, invest in more stock or reward themselves with a dividend? ๐Ÿ“ˆ

The children had a wonderful time and enjoyed seeing so many animals and habitats close up - bringing their learning to life. ๐Ÿ™Œ

At school we were delighted to receive an email from a visitor to the zoo who contacted us to say just how beautifully well behaved the children were throughout their lunch break. It really makes us so proud of our beautiful community when you receive such wonderful comments out of the blue. ๐Ÿคฉ
