Ducklings Nursery at Middleton Manchester

The tweenie room is looking to create a new role play area based on children's imagination....
We are asking if you have any old hand bags, hats or scarfs please could you donate them to Ducklings.
Preschool have recently updated the home corner into Ducklings' cut and blow. If you have any old shampoo bottles or make-up brushes, please could you kindly donate them to Ducklings.
Children learn better from objects from the world around them, so we would be very grateful for your support.

Gentle reminder: School applications for this year's reception must be submitted by January 15th, 2025!

Christmas dinner went down a treat, don't forget pj and domino's tomorrow and funded childrens last day :)

We want to thank all our wonderful parents/ carers for attending our little get togethers recently.
Parents evening was such a hit we will be doing lots more of these next year.
This morning we had stay and play for our under 2s and again this was such a lovely Christmas activity had by all.
This afternoon, tweenies and preschool made everyone proud by singing their hearts out to favourite Christmas songs.
Tomorrow is Christmas party day with a visit from the main man him self.
Wednesday is Christmas dinner day then Thursday is pj and domino's with the chosen film Elf.

Dobro Utro, on Monday, we spent the afternoon learning and talking about different snacks from around the world, and this week, it was Bulgaria 🇧🇬
The children enjoyed cutting the fruit and vegetables them selfs to make make Bulgarian salad 🥗
This activity was also observed by Rochdale council who loved the activity so much!

Annual Halloween fun! Ducklings will be holding our annual Halloween party on 30th October starting 530pm till 645pm! Tickets are on sale now at £5.00 per ticket!

Buon pomeriggio everyone.. usually we've been doing breakfast from around the world today we've changed it up a little with snacks from around the world.
Our Baby room has loved making Italian pizza today for snack.

This morning we carried on our breakfasts from around the world with a Spanish Omelette!
The children really enjoyed this, and the whole nursery took part.
Join us next week for Italian week.

Breakfasts from around the world... each week, we will be introducing the children to new foods from around the world. This was sparked by a preschool conversation about croissants! Todays country was France 🇫🇷 so all the nursery enjoyed our little morning snack..
Next week, we will be making omelette with different Spanish ingredients.
If you have any ideas of multi cultural foods we can introduce to the children, please let us know.
