Hi, I’m Yesim.
I am a qualified teacher (with QTS) and I have been tutoring privately since 2010. During this time, I have worked with students of all ages, tutoring in maths, English, Turkish and computer programming. I specialise in preparing children for entrance exams and offer one-to-one lessons at my home. I am available at weekends and some evenings. I live in Timperley and offer both face-to-face and online lessons in the following subjects:
• Entrance Exam preparation 11+
• Maths KS2 and KS1
• English KS2 and KS1
I volunteer for different organisations and I enjoy spending time outdoors. I have a passion for organising activities for the local community. I have three boys, ages 7, 16 and 19. I love spending time with children and seeing them grow, therefore currently I am childminding from my home.
I aspire to make a difference for each child and provide a happy relaxed learning environment in which they can achieve their best.
My teaching approach is entirely pupil-centred. I enjoy getting to know the individual pupil and take this process seriously, tailoring my lessons and resources to meet their specific needs and highlight their strengths.
