Toddler Sense is an award-winning toddler development programme. This carefully structured and themed adventure play programme is designed for children from 13 months to 5 years old. Classes provide an exciting introduction to learning through play and games with a main emphasis on mobility, excitement and adventure. This fast-moving, action-packed programme enables toddlers to learn and grow with

the freedom to explore things for themselves. Activities are short, dynamic and fun with a clear sense of purpose. Children are guided on adventures to the stars, through the jungle, underwater and to different places around the world. Each week has a unique theme, meticulously constructed to stimulate the child’s brain, co-ordination and physical development. Toddler sense classes include great music, equipment and new ideas. Every week involves a huge array of exciting and stimulating props…its often said we have a ‘Mary Poppins’ bag of surprises lined up at every session!! The classes give parents the opportunity to socialise alongside their children, many continuing friendships from Baby Sensory classes.

Hi, I’m Tanya 👋💙

I’m a devoted mum who finds real joy in the everyday moments—especially when I’m spending time with my two wonderful girls. 💕

My parenting journey has been full of so many special experiences, including starting Baby Sensory classes with my daughter Phoebe three years ago. Watching Phoebe light up with curiosity and excitement during those sessions was simply amazing! ✨

We then moved on to Toddler Sense, and it has continued to be such a fun and engaging part of her journey. It’s been incredible to watch her grow, develop and explore the world around her—and I’ve loved being right there alongside her every step of the way. 💛

💙 I’m so excited to be leading Toddler Sense Manchester Central classes at the WOW Centre, Monday to Friday!

Where on earth does the time go? 🥹

Yesterday, my boys went back to school and nursery, and for Samuel, it was his first day back for his final year there! 🥹

It feels like only yesterday he was a baby, and now he’s a vibrant little boy full of personality, smiles and endless energy. ✨

Running Baby Sensory & Toddler Sense means I get to watch so many of your little ones grow, reach incredible milestones and get ready for their big steps into nursery and school… but when it’s your own, it hits completely differently. 💙💛

I’m equal parts incredibly proud of the clever, funny boy he is becoming and desperate to press a pause button on just how quickly he’s growing up. 🥹

To everyone sending their little ones off for their first day back, a big milestone year, or even starting nursery or school for the very first time today or tomorrow… I’m sending you the biggest hug. ❤️

Keep the tissues handy, take all the pictures and try to soak up every single second. ✨

A huge GOOD LUCK to all of my Baby Sensory & Toddler Sense graduates today and tomorrow — you’re going to absolutely smash it! 💛💙✨

🏃‍♀️There’s more to me than being a business owner…

Today I swapped my usual Baby Sensory and Toddler Sense shoes for my running shoes and took on the Monton 5 Miler with Radcliffe AC. 🏃‍♀️✨

And honestly… it felt so good.

Being a mum and running two businesses can sometimes mean that everything and everyone else comes first.

There are classes to plan, resources to prepare, messages to answer, bookings to organise, the WOW Centre to get ready… and then there’s all the usual craziness that comes with being Mum! 😂💛💚💙

But running is my time.

It’s something I do just for me. Time to clear my head, challenge myself, spend time with my running friends and remember that I’m not just Mummy or just Sarah the business owner.

I’m Sarah too. 💛

And I think that’s something I’m learning more and more…

It’s important to make time for the things that make YOU happy too.

So today I’m celebrating a little 5-mile achievement, a shiny medal 🏅 and the reminder that looking after yourself matters too.

Now… back to Baby Sensory, Toddler Sense and all the September preparations! 😂💙💛💚🌈

💛 MEET THE OWNER! 💛

As our new term approaches, I thought now was the perfect time to re-introduce myself! 👋✨

Hi, I’m Sarah, proud mum of two boys Theo aged 7, Samuel aged 2 and the owner of Baby Sensory & Toddler Sense Manchester Central. 💚💛💙

I first discovered Baby Sensory as a new mum back in 2019, when my eldest was tiny. I absolutely loved the classes and the special time we shared together. In September 2020 we started our Toddler Sense journey together — we attended Toddler Sense every week until Theo started school.

Fast forward to August 2025 and I took the biggest step yet… I became the proud owner of the businesses! 🥹💚💛💙

What started as something I loved attending with my own babies has grown into businesses that means so much to me. I love creating magical experiences for babies, toddlers and their grown-ups, watching friendships grow and seeing those little faces light up each week. ✨

I’m so excited for everything our Autumn Term has in store and to welcome back familiar faces, as well as lots of new families joining us for the first time. 🥰

Why do we offer a 3-week trial at Toddler Sense Manchester Central? 💙💛

We know that choosing a new class for your toddler can feel like a big commitment… especially when you’re not quite sure how they’ll settle.

That’s why we offer our 3-week trial. ✨

Because one session doesn’t always tell the full story.

🌟 Week 1: They might be a little unsure, overwhelmed or simply want to watch.

🌟 Week 2: They start recognising the routine, the songs, the equipment and the familiar faces.

🌟 Week 3: You often start to see them really come out of their shell — exploring, joining in and enjoying the adventure!

Toddler Sense has a familiar structure each week, but the theme, activities and sensory experiences change, so three sessions also gives you a proper feel for the variety of our classes.

And it’s not just about your toddler…

It gives YOU time to get to know us, meet other families, experience the WOW Centre and decide whether Toddler Sense feels like the right fit for you both. 💛

There’s absolutely no pressure to commit straight away.

We want you to be able to say:

“Yes! This is our kind of place.” 🥰
