Running challenges for different film genres including; poem films, music video, documentary and short films, hold screenings both at MadLab and other venues across the city of Manchester and the UK. We have worked in collaboration with a variety of organisations to promote film making in the region including Castlefield Gallery, Comma Press, Manchester Craft and Design Centre and Single Cell Music Collective. We also promote filmmakers and their films created with us in Film Festivals internationally. Maybe you're a photographer who wants to make the move into video or your a video maker wanting to change from fixed lenses to DSLR? Do you have all the skills to make a great video but don’t own a decent microphone for recording the sound? Or maybe you just want to meet up with other people using these involved in short film making to share your experience of them!
