We are very pleased to announce Professor Qammer H. Abbasi from the University of Glasgow, Scotland as the recepient of the KROTO MEDAL 2026.
Qammer H. Abbasi is a Professor of Applied Electromagnetics & Sensing with the James Watt School (JWS) of Engineering (University of Glasgow), Theme lead for Connecting People priority at JWS, Director for Communication Sensing and Imaging (CSI) Hub, Co-Director in Centre for Doctoral Training in Diversity-Led, Mission-Driven Research, UK Government’s Policy Advisor in Department for Science Innovation & Technology and Expert Advisor for Scottish Government's Scotland Technology Council and Scottish Science advisor council member.

We are very pleased to announce Dr Tanveer Tabish from the University of Oxford as the winner of this year’s KROTO MEDAL 2025.
Tanveer A. Tabish is a British Heart Foundation Advanced Fellow and Principal Investigator in Nanomedicine at the Radcliffe Department of Medicine and Department of Engineering Science at the University of Oxford in the United Kindom.

We are very pleased to announce Professor Catherine J. Murphy from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (USA) as the recipient of this year’s NANOSMAT PRIZE 2025.
Catherine J. Murphy is the Larry R. Faulkner Endowed Chair in Chemistry and the Head of the Department of Chemistry at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC).
Professor Murphy will give her 2025 NANOSMAT PRIZE Lecture titled “A Golden Time for Nanotechnology” during the plenary session of the 16th NANOSMAT Conference to be held in Naples, Italy during 6-10 July 2025.
