NICE: Improving care and support for people with frailty:

“People with frailty are at risk of falls. They’re also at risk of developing conditions such as anxiety and depression, and are more likely to have unplanned hospital admissions. The aim of this learning programme is to support pharmacists to develop the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to undertake effective consultations, communications and clinical assessments in order to provide the NHS Pharmacy First service.

You will need to bring along your own otoscope to use during the workshop – this is important to ensure that you have adequate time available to practise examination skills.

PLEASE NOTE: You will not be able to book this workshop if you have already attended the Ear, nose and throat examination: advancing clinical assessment skills workshop or the NHS Pharmacy First: Clinical assessment – essential skills online workshop.
