We would like to inform you that there was an incident in the area adjacent to the nursery today which required us to implement our lockdown procedure as a precautionary measure.
The safety and wellbeing of the children and staff is always our highest priority. All children and staff remained safe throughout the incident and the lockdown procedure was carried out calmly and effectively.
The incident involved a member of the public, and we have been informed that the individual has since been arrested by the police. Following advice from the relevant authorities, the situation has now been resolved and normal nursery operations have resumed. We appreciate that hearing about incidents such as this can be concerning. Please be assured that all children were safe at all times and that our established safety procedures worked as intended.

💛 Helping our friends when they need it most 💛

There’s nothing more special than seeing friendships grow in the early years. Yesterday we spotted a lovely moment where a little friend reached out to help—offering a hand, a bit of reassurance, and lots of encouragement 💫

These small moments are actually big milestones. Learning to support each other, show kindness, and build confidence together is such an important part of growing up 🥰

We enjoyed lots of fresh air, exploring, climbing, and plenty of giggles along the way 😄 The children loved having space to run around and build their confidence trying new things!

💙 Wear Blue for World Autism Awareness Day 💙

Thursday, 2nd April, we are celebrating World Autism Awareness Day at nursery!

We invite all children and staff to come dressed in blue to show our support and raise awareness for autism. Wearing blue is a simple but meaningful way to promote understanding, kindness, and inclusion for everyone.

Let’s come together to celebrate the uniqueness of every child and create a world where everyone feels valued and accepted.💙

☀️ Soaking up the Sunshine! ☀️

What a lovely week we’ve had enjoying the sunshine! 🌼 The children have absolutely loved getting out and about, with trips to the park to explore, run around, and enjoy some fresh air. 🌳

From climbing and sliding to playing games, it’s been full of smiles, laughter, and lots of fun! 😊

We love making the most of the nicer weather and giving the children opportunities to explore the outdoors and burn off some energy! 💛

🎨✨ Messy Play Magic in Preschool Today! ✨🎨

Our preschool children had an amazing time exploring a colourful sensory activity today! 💕

Using spoons, cups, and plates, the children enjoyed mixing, scooping, pouring, and spreading the textured mixture – getting wonderfully messy while learning through play! 🥄🌈

This activity supported:
🖐️ Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
🧠 Creativity and imagination
💬 Communication and language as they explored together
🔍 Curiosity and problem-solving

The children showed fantastic engagement and loved experimenting with the different textures and colours – and of course, didn’t mind getting a little messy! 😄
