๐ณ Pupils from 10A planted tree saplings during Living Islam lessons, as a way of looking after the environment as stewards of the earth and enhancing the school grounds. The trees were provided by the Woodland Trust. An amazing way to leave a legacy in school. ๐ฟ

As we welcome the blessed days of Dhul Hijjah, our Year 7 pupils have been learning about the importance and virtues of these special days in Islam ๐โจ
To encourage them to make the most of this blessed time, each pupil was given a small guide containing beneficial reminders, acts of worship, and key information about Dhul Hijjah ๐ค
May Allah allow our pupils and their families to benefit from these blessed days and fill them with barakah and reward.

๐ To our incredible Year 11s ๐
Today marks the beginning of your GCSE exams, the moment you have all been working towards throughout your time with us. While exams are important, today also reminds us how much more school is about than just grades.
On Friday , we celebrated the end of your Year 11 journey in true tradition. From signing each otherโs shirts with messages, memories, and inside jokes, to sharing Miamis together, it has been wonderful to see the friendships and community you have built over the years.
One of the highlights was our annual awards tradition, where the boys had the challenge of guessing which comments matched which pupils. The laughter, reactions, and memories created during those moments perfectly captured the spirit of your year group, full of humour, personality, and support for one another.
As you begin your GCSE exams today, remember how far you have already come. Be proud of your hard work, believe in yourselves, and give each exam your very best effort. Success is not only measured by results, but by resilience, determination, and the character you show along the way.
We are incredibly proud of each and every one of you. Thank you for the memories, the laughter, and the impact you have made on our school community. We wish you the very best in your exams and in the exciting future ahead.
Good luck, Year 11, youโve got this! ๐

โค๏ธ Goodbye Ms Majid โค๏ธ
It is with deep gratitude and affection that we recognise the remarkable service of Ms Majid, who has dedicated almost 30 years to Manchester Islamic Educational Trust.
Beginning her journey at MIGSG, Ms Majid built a reputation for her unwavering commitment, kindness, and professionalism. In 2003, during the early developmental years of KD Grammar School for Boys, she joined the school at a pivotal stage and over the years, she undertook a variety of roles, always willing to step forward wherever support was needed. This helped shape the nurturing environment that the school community values today.
Beyond her professional contributions, Ms Majid has been a source of warmth, humour, and encouragement to staff, pupils, and families alike. Her calm presence and caring nature, have left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to work alongside her.
Ms Majidโs loyalty and dedication have been truly valued and her presence will be deeply missed within our corridors and community.
On behalf of all the KDGB community, we extend our heartfelt thanks to Ms Majid for her many years of service and friendship. We wish her happiness, good health and every success in this new chapter of her life. InshaโAllah.
