Today, we had our Food Hygiene Inspection from Stockport Council and we are delighted to say we maintained our 5* food hygiene rating!
Well done to our wonderful cook Surekha who spoke to the officer and demonstrated our high standards of food prep, allergy awareness and cleanliness of the kitchen.

π Mental Health Awareness Week π
We have been very busy this week celebrating Mental Health Awareness Week! The children in all rooms have enjoyed taking on the 'Feel Alive with 5' challenges. They read the colour monster and talked about their feelings, engaged in some exercise, pampered themselves with a spa day, did something kind for someone else and ate something healthy.
The children also enjoyed the Heatons bake off throughout the week and then sold their creations to raise money for the Mental Health Foundation. Thank you to all our parents who kindly donated.
Helping children to recognise their feelings builds strong foundations for later in life, helps them to feel safe and supported whilst strengthening security and attachments.
Mental Health Awareness also included our lovely staff who were treated to breakfast.

A group of our Norris room children enjoyed working with Hattie this afternoon planting Strawberry plants. They listened well to Hattie's instructions and talked to her about what our plants would need to help them grow. The children will now take on the responsibility of looking after our strawberry plants until we get to pick and eat them! π
