With the increase in demand for University places and the sharp rise in course fees University places are harder to come by. That, along with the prospect of an ever rising cost of student debt, means more young people are seeking alternative ways to continue their learning and are increasingly looking at the option of Apprenticeships for vocational qualifications and training. So if full time HE or Uni is looking less and less like a viable option then don’t despair - get a head start on your career, and get qualified along the way with an Advanced Apprenticeship. Even better, research shows that apprentices earn, on average, over £100,000 more throughout their lifetime than other employees.*
Options for High Flyers
Employers are more eager than ever to take on Apprentices and train them in the specifics of their own business as a tried and tested way of boosting productivity and securing succession planning within their employee base. Advanced Apprenticeships offer that opportunity for those who are keen to learn and eager to quickly progress their career. If you have done well at school or completed two years post compulsory education you may be able to start straight on an Advanced Apprenticeship and progress quickly onto a Higher Apprenticeship without having completed the Intermediate level. This year we have a greater number of Advanced Apprenticeships being delivered across a number of industries and professional occupations - keep an eye out for the ‘Coming Soon’ sections. Apprenticeships aren’t just about learning hands-on practical trades (although we certainly deliver lots of those too!) they are available and growing in popularity and demand within the Business and Professional sectors. We’re looking for high achievers who want to progress quickly so there’s never been a better time to apply! And if you are able to find your own employer to take you on then you could qualify for a bonus payment!
