Down the allotment yesterday, we had fun playing with the mud kitchens, singing rhymes and looking for mini beasts- our solitary bees have laid eggs. The allotments are looking beautiful, full of Spring flowers. I provide all the puddlesuits, so little explorers are confident to get stuck in ☺️

Walk around the lakes today. The goslings have hatched, how beautiful. Jumping in puddles in the rain and finding hatched eggs to inspire awe and wonder. Home with muddy puddlesuits, welly boots, socks and smiles 😊

We love dropping into a charity shop when we're passing, especially Willow Wood. We got lots of dinosaurs today and of course a random fire engine (I wasn't arguing over 50p πŸ˜‚). The staff are always so lovely to the children and it's good to support local charities.

Trip to Next Generation Day Nursery Ashton today to lead on a mini beasts hunt in Forest School today for Sir David Attenborough's 100th birthday. We had so much fun- beetle, centipede, snail, slug, spider, caterpillar, ladybird, flies, woodlice and a very friendly hoverfly that kept landing on our fingers, much to the amusement of the children

We are so fortunate to have an allotment! We had a minibeast hunt yesterday, to celebrate Sir David Attenborough's 100th birthday. We harvested our rhubarb too

Yesterday, we all went to vote after school. We talked about how it's important to choose who you want to represent you

Down our favourite woods- Boodle Woods. The wild garlic scent filled the air and birds singing. So relaxing and good for wellbeing
