We loved meeting Michael Wheeler for Worsley & Eccles last week! Lovely that he is one of our alumni too!

I've changed a bit!
Supporting the children and schools in our community to achieve is hugely important to me and I look forward to visiting all of them, answering the always interesting questions from the children, and working together.
School is opened as normal on Tuesday 14th January.
Thank you for your support today.
Beech have had a fantastic first week back. We particularly enjoyed using our drama skills to re-enact the Battle of Bosworth to understand how the Tudor period began πβοΈ
Year 5 and Year 6 had an exciting visit this morning from Michael Wheeler, Labour MP for Worsley and Eccles. They asked lots of insightful questions and left the session feeling very inspired.
Snow didnβt stop play for Nursery today! We enjoyed exploring what had happened to all of the water in our mud kitchen, tried to build a snowman and had lots of fun throwing snowballs! βοΈ βοΈ
At the start of February (wb10th February) the children will be taking part in an aspirations week. We are looking for parents, relatives, local neighbours or trades who have interesting job roles and could come and speak to our pupils about their job, how they got into the role and what they enjoy about it.
If you or anyone you know would be interested in volunteering, please email [email protected] for the attention of Miss Dodds.
Thank you in advance for your support.
