Today I read again a passage written by A.B. Simpson a Canadian theologian. Commenting on Aaron the High Priest wearing precious jewels on his priestly garment, he wrote that this was "... to teach us that Christ, our great High Priest, perpetually carries upon His heart our names, engraven in imperishable characters . . . and takes our petitions and present them to our Father. . . . He prays for us ten thousand times when we are too ignorant or too forgetful to pray for ourselves, and every moment He holds our names before His Father in unforgetton love and ceaseless remembrance."-- The Master's Healing Presence Bible p. 93. Be encouraged that your Saviour is praying for you.
