Our internship team based at Medlock pledged earlier this week to complete '50KinMay' otherwise known as an ULTRA MARATHON using the exercise equipment that could be found in Active Tameside's gym. This idea was to demonstrate the positive affects of exercise on an individual's mental wellbeing. and to further raise money for the Mental Health Foundation. We are happy to announce that we SMASHED our target and are feeling GREAT! (If not slightly tired) Thankyou to all parents, friends, guardians, colleagues and family members who have supported us through sponsors and donations.

Today has been a very productive and successful day! The interns have been working hard over the week to raise money and social awareness of mental wellbeing in line with Mental Health Awareness Week. The group have raised £50.00 from their Picnic in the Park which will be donated to the Mental Health Foundation. Thanks to everyone who helped and took part in the glorious sunshine with us!
