The earliest months go so fast. 🤍
At Baby House, we've built every single space around that, the need for calm, for familiarity, for a face your baby actually knows.
Soft routines. Cosy corners. Someone who genuinely knows your little one.
This is where their nursery journey begins. Gently. Safely. In New Moston, from September 2026.
Spaces are limited. Register your interest and read more on our website ⤵️

From loose craft pieces the investigation table to nature-inspired sensory boards filled with pine cones, and plasticine, there has been so much curiosity and conversation happening across the rooms.
Activities like these give children the freedom to lead their own learning, make choices, and talk about what they notice and discover along the way.
This kind of play supports:
✨ Communication and language through discussion, storytelling and new vocabulary
✨ Understanding the world through natural materials and real life exploration
✨ Creative development through open-ended, child-led investigation
✨ Personal, social and emotional development through independence and decision making
A brilliant few days in Nursery. We love watching our children thrive. 💛

🌐💙 Online Safety Matters 💙🌐
Children and young people are spending more time online than ever before — learning, playing, and connecting with others. While the internet can be a fantastic tool, it’s important we help keep them safe too.

Our children have been enjoying the many benefits of Forest School learning 🌿🍃
Forest School gives our children space to explore, move, investigate, and build confidence in the natural world. From climbing and balancing to collecting natural materials, transporting resources, and working together, every outdoor moment supports meaningful development.
These experiences help our children develop:
🌱 Confidence and independence through child led exploration
🌱 Physical development through climbing, balancing, lifting, carrying, and movement
🌱 Communication and language through shared discovery and conversation
🌱 Problem solving skills through open ended outdoor play
🌱 Emotional wellbeing through fresh air, freedom, and connection with nature
🌱 Teamwork and social skills through cooperation and shared adventures
A lovely reminder that learning does not need four walls. Sometimes it needs muddy boots, curious minds, and a wheelbarrow that suddenly becomes the most important thing in the world.

Using floating ducks in the water tray, our children had the chance to scoop, move, count, and observe what happened as they played. There was lots of curiosity as they explored how the objects moved in the water, practised counting together, and used their hands to reach, grasp, and collect.
Water play is a brilliant way to support early learning because it combines sensory exploration, problem solving, and mathematical thinking in a calm, hands on way.
This activity supported:
💧 Mathematics through counting, sorting, and noticing quantities
💧 Physical development through reaching, grasping, and hand eye coordination
💧 Communication and language through shared discussion and new vocabulary
💧 Understanding the world through exploring floating, movement, and cause and effect
A lovely example of learning through play, with just enough splashing to keep things interesting.
