Urmston Music Makers was founded by Helen Adams, a local music teacher with a passion for passing on musical knowledge to learners of all ages and abilities while making learning fun for them. She has been teaching music for many years and her proudest achievement was to set up a primary school orchestra from scratch and get it to win a silver medal in its first competition within three years. Helen started playing piano at the age of seven and then moved on to other instruments.
